CIA語言學校

當初在澳洲大堡礁潛水後，就愛上了這個活動。菲律賓也是一個海洋資源很豐富的國家，來到宿霧前我就決定我要在這裡拿到潛水執照。
I became so interested in diving activity after diving at Great Barrier Reef, Australia. The Philippines is also a country which has a lot of marine resources. I already decided to get the diving license before I arrived in Cebu.

本校Cebu International Academy(CIA)於2003創立，是一間在菲律賓宿霧聲譽良好的語言學校，可以容納130學生，每到旺季學校宿舍一位難求。為了擴大英文教育服務，本校決定開設新校區，於2012年7月初正式開課，現在宿舍可以容納270位學生。

想要有良好的學習效果，舒適的住宿環境是一個很重要的因素。在這裡介紹一下CIA語言學校的宿舍環境。

我們的新校區在2012年6月底改建完畢，校區的環境非常新穎舒適。宿舍就和教學區在同一個校區內，因此學生上課無需通車。我們有提供雙人及三人的房型，房內的基本設施有個人單層單人床、個人書桌椅、個人數位密碼衣櫃、冷氣、冰箱、獨立衛浴、無線網路等等。

目前台灣到菲律賓宿霧沒有直飛班機，很多人來宿霧這邊都會選擇廉價航空Cebu Pacific宿霧太平洋航空，從桃園國際機場出發，在馬尼拉轉機，在這裡提供一些注意事項。

首先，一定要有回程機票。如果沒有回程機票證明，在桃園機場報到的時候航空公司就不會讓你check in。

遊學是一件需要很多花費的事，但卻很美好!我第一次到了美國加州大學讀ESL一個月，認識了很多外國朋友也感受到了美國自由學習的風氣，不會有老師逼你。這次我到了菲律賓，費用只有美國的一半，最不一樣的地方是CIA語言學校一天有八節課，其中有三堂一對一的課程，因為很少台灣人，跟同學溝通全都只能用英文，從早到晚只有英文陪著你，可能連說夢話也都用英文，這樣英文沒進步真的很難。
Studying abroad is very expensive but wonderful. My first experience studying ESL abroad was in University of California, USA. In a month, I made a lot of foreigner friends and experience the learning atmosphere there. No one forced me to study when I stayed there. This time, I came to the Philippines to study English and it only cost me half compare to USA. The biggest difference is that CIA language school provides 8 classes every day, including 3 one-on-one classes. There are only few Taiwanese students, so I have to communicate with others in English. I speak English all day long, even while sleeping. It’s quit impossible getting no improvement in English.

相信很多人一聽到來菲律賓學英文，都會感到很吃驚，老實說，我當初一知道可以來菲律賓上語言學校，也感到很驚訝。
菲律賓由7000多個大大小小島嶼所組成，因為國土被海洋隔離，每個地區都有自己的方言。菲律賓的第一官方語言為Tagalog，第二官方語言便是英文，所有學生從小學就開始學英文，師資來源豐富，加上外國人可以很容易用英文與菲律賓人溝通，所以越來越多英文語言學校在此開設。

2011/10/29，我和CIA語言學校的朋友參加了薄荷島兩天一夜的旅遊，我們找了當地的旅行社，我們一行總共20多人，旅行社給我們的價格是2500披索，幾乎包含了所有的項目。
I joined Bohol 2D1N package tour with my CIA friends on Oct. 29th, 2011. There were more than 20 people joined the trip. The price the travel agency offered us was 2500 pesos for each, including almost everything.

當初只報名了一個月，想說一個月就足夠了，但當我結束在CIA的最後一天，很後悔當初為什麼只報名一個月，畢竟一個月學習真的有限，因此讓我在心中下定決心在澳洲努力賺錢，好再度回CIA繼續深造。
I only enrolled at CIA for a month at first, because I though one month was enough for me. However, I regretted about the decision when I finished my study here. After all, a month is too short for studying English. Thus, I decided to work hard in Australia for me to have the chance come back in the Philippines again.
